Men's Soccer Announces 2014 Recruiting Class

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's soccer program has announced its newest group of incoming student-athletes that will play for the Orange and Black this fall.

I am very excited to announce our 2014 recruiting class," said head men's soccer coach Chris Swift. "It is a large class of 22 players that comes from across the country, and I eagerly anticipate the contribution each one of these young men will have on our program in the coming years.

Swift also gives credit to Sasha Viatrov for his work in the recruiting process. Sasha deserves a huge amount of credit for the recruitment of this class," said Swift. "He has worked tirelessly and without him, we wouldn't have had the success we did in recruiting. We were working to replace a large graduating class from last year, and this class has laid the foundation for the next era in the Greenville College men's soccer program.

Jonathan Adams
Jonathan is coming to Greenville from Yorba Linda, Calif. He was a four-year varsity player and finished his career with seven goals and six assists. He played for three club teams during high school -- Chelsea SC, Pateadores, and AC Brea. He plans on majoring in chemistry, with the hopes of one day attaining a degree in chemical engineering.

Jace Brandenstein
Jace is a defender from Wadesville, Ind. During his high school career, he set the record for the most goals scored in a single game, along with the most goals scored in a season. He played for the Evansville Soccer Club team outside of high school. He plans on majoring in criminal justice.

Michael Burkhart
Michael is coming to Greenville College from OFallon, Ill. He played for the club team, BEF Goalbusters. He plans on majoring in biochemistry. One of his hopes for the coming year would be that he would be a source of support for his teammates.

Josh Davinnroy
Josh is a midfielder from Belleville, Ill. He finished his high school career with three goals and six assists, mostly playing center defender. In his club career for BFC, Josh finished with seven goals and 18 assists, playing mostly center midfielder. He plans on majoring in education.

Dylan East
Dylan is a forward from Port Neches, Texas. He was named the leading varsity scorer in district play in for the 2012-13 season. He played for three club teams, the Houston Texans, the Albion Hurricanes, and Gulf Coast United. He is planning on majoring in sports management with a minor in history.

Colin Ledbetter
Colin is a midfielder from Vandalia, Ill. He finished his high school career with eight goals and six assists. He plans on majoring in physical education with a minor in business administration.

Brent William Lehr
Brent is an outside midfielder from Belleville, Ill. He finished his high school career with eight goals. He played for the club team BFC where he had eight goals and two assists. He plans on majoring in biology, eventually looking towards physical therapy.

Kyle Levan
Kyle is coming to Greenville from Carlinville, Ill.He finished his high school career with 18 goals in his senior year alone. He played for the South FC Central and South County club teams while still in high school. He plans on majoring in art.

Colton Maggard
Colton is a midfielder from Carthage, Mo. He was a captain of every club team that he played on during high school. The most recent club team that he has played on is the Joplin Demize Academy team. He plans on majoring in history education.

Micah Miller
Micah is a left back from Middlebury, Ind. He is coming off a senior season of 14-4-4, and is looking to keeping up that winning record here at Greenville. He played for the club team ECU. He is planning on majoring in Spanish and business management.

Peto Mondragon Jr.
Peto is a goalkeeper from Attalla, Ala. He played for Fusion Futbol Club and helped to win three state championships with them. He is planning on majoring in secondary education.

Keegan Nesch
Keegan is a center midfielder from OFallon, Ill. He finished his high school career with four goals and two assists. He played for the club team, Belleville Football Club, where he finished his 10-year career with 23 goals and 30 assists. He is planning on majoring in physical therapy.

Austin Ragsdale
Austin is an attacking mid from Green River, Wyo. He is coming in with five goals and 16 assists in high school. He was a four year varsity starter and made the All-Conference team twice during his high school career. He played for the club team Wyoming 307. He plans on majoring in physical therapy.

Joshua Ripperger
Joshua is a center defender from Hillsboro, Mo. He finished his senior year with two goals. He played for the club team Kolping Kicks Soccer club. So far, he is undecided for a major but is looking forward to finding his calling during his time at Greenville.

Raudel Salcedo
Raudel is a center defender from Wenatchee, Wash. He intends to major in mechanical engineering.

Jacob Wisler
Jacob is a left defender from Centennial, Colo. He was a varsity starter in his senior season. He played for the Colorado International Soccer Academy outside of his school. He is going to major in biology and hopes to use that degree to get into a physical therapy program after his time at Greenville.
