EUREKA, Ill. -- The men's soccer team got nine first half goals as they ran away with a 10-0 win over Eureka on Saturday. Jordan York posted a hat trick in the outing.

In addition to York's three goal outing, Spencer Pulliam posted two goals and one assist.

Ben Linder and Dillon Czech added a goal and two assists. Single goals were posted by Jacob Jones, Brent McCollum, and Alex Carie. Single assists were tallied by Richie Hershkowitz, Peter Plakorus, Brent Lehr, and Josh Davinroy.

Thomas Crown and Jose Mondragon shared the shutout for Greenville with Crown collecting two saves.

"It was a very emotional day for us, and we rallied today around one of our own, Elliot Thompson, who's father had just passed away," said head coach Chris Swift. "I was so happy to see Elliot at the game following the loss, and the guys came out, played for ET and in memory of Frank, and put on a great display. We sent our seniors off in great fashion and we wrapped up a fantastic season."

"We truly have laid the foundation to build something very special going forward. The four seniors are going to leave a void, but they have done a great job in building up the underclassmen. We consistently started 4-5 freshmen and 6-7 underclassmen, and now we turn our attention to next season."

"The players will take a couple of weeks off, but then the work starts in earnest as we move forward. We have quality recruits already committed, and we are very confident that we will be competing for a conference championship next season."

The Panthers concluded their season with an overall record of 10-8-1 (6-3 SLIAC).
