GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's soccer team returned to the win column with a 2-1 win over Millsaps on Friday night. Jordan York posted both Greenville goals.
Freshman goalkeeper Jose Mondragon tended the net for Greenville and had two saves.
Millsaps outshot Greenville 11-9 in the contest.
"It was a great night for us to come out and find a way to win even though we weren't at our best," said head coach Chris Swift.
"Jordan stepped up with his first goals of the season, and hopefully this will be the opening of the flood gates for him. He works so hard, it was only a matter of time before he got one, and of course the second followed quickly. Also very proud of Peto. He stepped in tonight for Thomas and performed really well in earning his first collegiate victory."
The Panthers (4-3-1) travel to Benedictine - Springfield on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. match.
