GREENVILLE, Ill. -- For the second consecutive year, the Panther mens tennis team broke head coach Brett Brannons win record. The Panthers followed up their 2013 12-10 campaign, with a 13-9 record this season.

Highlights from the season included a 9-5 non conference mark, two victories over conference rival Webster University, an 18 match doubles winning streak, and a six match team winning streak.

Sophomore Code Power took home the Team MVP. He posted an incredible 18-2 singles mark. His career record in singles now stands at 28-4.

The No. 1 doubles tandem of Alex Dowley and Jon Urshan were an anchor all year for the Panthers. They had several impressive wins, and ended the season with a record of 13-7. It was the 3rd best record by a #1 doubles team in the last 15 seasons.

The No. 3 doubles team of Code Power and Demetrius Bush were named to the SLIAC Conference 1st Team. In their first season playing together, they went 15-5.

Senior Ryan Haas posted a singles record of 13-5, finishing off a very successful career.

Junior Demetrius Bush posted a mark of 15-5 in singles.

It was a truly remarkable year," said Brannon. "God was very faithful to our team. We went through a lot of adversity before the season and during the season. Through it all, these guys stuck together and really became a team. The future is very bright for Greenville College mens tennis.
