Men's tennis knocks off Messiah

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The men's tennis team improved their record to 3-2 with a 5-4 win over Messiah.
The Panthers opened play taking two of the three doubles matches as the No. 2 team of Nate Wieland and Demetrius Bush picked up an 8-2 win and the No. 3 team of Code Power and Justin McDonald also won 8-2.
In singles play, Wieland took a three set victory at No. 1, and Power and Bush won at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, in straight sets.
The Panthers return to action Tuesday with a match against Edgewood.
