Men's Tennis Nipped by North Central

GALESBURG, Ill. -- The men's tennis team's second match of the day against North Central was tight, but the Panthers were on the short end of a 5-4 loss.
Demetrius Bush and Code Power won their second match of the day at No. 3 doubles with an 8-6 triumph.
In singles, No. 2 Alex Dowley knocked off his opponent 2-6, 6-3, 10-5; Ryan Haas won 2-6, 6-3, 10-4 at No. 3; and Code Power picked up a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 4.
The Panthers fell in a tiebreak at No. 5 singles as Bush lost 6-2, 0-6, 10-3.
The men's tennis team (1-1) continues their season on Sat., Feb. 15, when they travel to face Illinois College and St. Louis Pharmacy in St. Louis.
