Men's tennis winning streak ends at hands of Spring Arbor

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. -- A nine-match winning streak that started in mid-March came to its end Saturday as the men's tennis team was nipped 5-4 by Spring Arbor. A large crowd was in attendance as the sister Free Methodist colleges played their first match against each other in over 20 years.
Greenville fell behind 3-0 after dropping all doubles matches. The Panthers rallied to win four of the six singles matches, but the effort fell just short.
No. 2 Jon Urshan and No. 4 Code Power won in straight sets.
No. 1 Nate Wieland and No. 5 Demetrius Bush won in a tiebreaker after spliting two sets.
The Panthers (11-3) host Fontbonne on Monday at 6 p.m.
