Men's track and field earns two titles at Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. --The men's indoor track and field teams competed Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan and returned with titles by Jarrid Williams in the triple jump and Ryan Burgess in the weight throw.
Williams posted a mark of 13.22 meters (43-4.5) as he was the victor in the triple jump.
Burgess provided a best of 15.16 m (49-9) in the weight throw.
Three Panther competitors ranked second in the men's competition.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Nathan Allyn, Parker Wray, Andrew Sharp, and Nathan Potts clocked a 3:34.51 in their second place performance.
Williams was second in the long jump with a leap of 6.51 m (21-4.25), and Mitchell Hooten's 14.30 m (46-11) placed second in the shot put.
The Panthers return to the track next Saturday at Illinois College.
