Men's track and field wins three events at St. Louis University

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The men's track and field team got event wins by Jonah Peoples, Bruce Gray, and the 4x100 meter relay team as they accumulated 78 points for a third place showing at the St. Louis University Invitational.

Peoples posted a time of 14.89 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles to win by four hundredths of a second.

Gray was the winner in the 200 meter dash with a finish of 21.59 seconds which was nearly four tenths of a second better than the runner up.

The 4x100 team was comprised of Gray, Peoples, Terran Daniels, and Jarrid Williams. They completed the race in 41.95 seconds, winning by almost two tenths of a second.

Williams received second place in the triple jump with a distance of 13 meters (42-8).

Peoples was third in the 200 with a 22.06, and Jacob Burrell earned third in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 34:42.

The Panthers compete at Rose-Hulman on Friday.
