Men's track earns 79.5 points in third place finish at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. --The men's track and field team got a winning performance in the 800 meter run from its NCAA Division III All-American Andrew Sharp as he helped Greenville to a third place performance at Rose-Hulman.

Sharp ran the 800 meter run in 1:51.38 to top a pair of runners from Wabash.

Treyvon Manning was second in the 400 meter hurdles with time of 55.35 seconds to better his seed time by nearly one second.

Sharp, Manning, Matt Hughes, and Nathan Potts finished the 4x400 meter relay in 3:21 as they were second place winners.

Jarrid Williams produced a second place mark in the triple jump with a leap of 13.79 meters (45 feet, 3 inches). Williams was also third in the long jump with a final distance of 6.33 meters (20-9.25).

John Mangold was a third place performer in the 1500 meter run with a time of 3:58.

The Panthers will compete on Saturday, April 30, at Illinois College.
