Men's Basketball Falls to Westminster 64-57

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball teamlost a close game Saturday afternoon as they were defeated 64-57 byWestminster.Senior forward Andy Traeger led the Panthers in scoring, nettinga game-high 19 points and went5-for-9 from beyond the three-point arc.

Adding to Traeger's game-high, junior Markeith Brown put in another double-digit scoring performance, adding17 points and picking upfour rebounds.

Leading the Panthers (10-8, 6-4 SLIAC) in rebounds was Obinna Agomo witheight and K.J. Hilliard who grabbed six. Both Agomo and Hilliard contributedthree assists a piece in the losing effort.

Greenville trailed at haftime by one point and fought hard the entire game but to no avail as the Bluejays were just too much down the stretch.

The men's team returns to action Tuesday night, Feb. 8, as they will travel to take onPrincipiaat 8 p.m.
