Men's Basketball Opens Season with Eight-Point Loss to Hendrix

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team opened their 2010-11 season with a 91-83 loss to Hendrix.  The Panthers (0-1) were led by the scoring of five men who posted 10 or more points but were unable to limit the offense fire-power of Hendrix.

Rashod Seaton and K.J. Hilliard were the offensive catalysts for Greenville as they led the squad with 16 points apiece.  Jonas McBride added 14 points, Obinna Agomo contributed 11 points, and Andy Traeger tallied 10 points.

Traeger was the Panthers' top rebounder with nine and provided two blocked shots.  Agomo was right behind with eight caroms while leading the team with two steals.

The Panthers resume their season Saturday as they face Rhodes at 5 p.m.
