Men's Basketball Outlasts Rhodes in 75-64 Win

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team shot 50 percent from the field as they defeated Rhodes 75-64 in the second game of Greenville's season opening classic. The Panthers (1-1) rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit to outscore Rhodes by 19 in the second half for a convincing win.

K.J. Hilliard paced the Greenville scoring attack with 14 points as he moved into the starting lineup. Hilliard also tallied a team-high four steals.

Obinna Agomo provided the Panthers with 13 points and tied Ben Giertz for the team lead with six rebounds.

Markeith Brown posted 11 points in limited action, and Rashod Seaton added four assists.

The Panthers resume their season on Wednesday, Dec. 1, as they battle Blackburn at 8 p.m. in the first conference game of the year.
