Men's Cross Country Earns Second at St. Louis University

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Greenville College men's cross country team used a second and third place finish of seniors Nathan Young and Ross Baker to place second of three teams at the St. Louis Forest ParkXC Festival on Friday.
Young ran the six kilometer course in 20:41 to end in second place. Baker crossed the finish line six seconds later in his third place showing.
Greenville's overall score of 33 was second to NCAA Division I St. Louis' 27 point total.
Rounding out the Panther scoring was Josh Dees (8th, 21:41), Bryant Simpson (9th, 22:06), and Raymond Hingson (11th, 22:15).
Greenville returns to action Friday at Illinois State.
