Men's Soccer Grabs Key Contest Against Webster, Ekes Past Gorloks 1-0

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The GC men withstood a strong Webster squad on Wednesday night, downing the opposition 1-0 in the SLIAC duel.

Senior GK Nathan Haas turned in a brilliant performance in net, rejecting six Webster shots to earn the shutout victory.

Fellow senior and forward Craig "Cobi" Allen netted the lone goal in the 1-0 affair, as he ripped an unassisted chance past the Gorlok keeper in first period play.

With the conference win Greenville men's soccer advances to 10-5-3 (5-1 SLIAC) and will return to the pitch on Saturday, October 22 as they welcome Fontbonne University to Francis Field for a 3:00 pm match.
