Men's Soccer Team Takes Championship at Defiance

The Greenville College men's soccer team rebounded from a season-opening loss to win a tournament championship last weekend.
The Panthers defeated Waynesburg Friday evening and held off Thiel to win the Defiance Tournament championship in Ohio.
Greenville earned its first win of the season behind a first half goal against Waynesburg and went on to win 1-0 over the Yellow Jackets.
A second half goal by Daniel Taylor sealed the tournament championship Saturday for the Panthers.
Taylor, with an assist from David Dunlop, scored in the 62nd minute of play to break a 1-1 tie and give Greenville the win.
