Ohio Wesleyan Overtake the Lady Panthers; GC Women's Tennis Leaves Hilton Head 0-4

Published: April 13, 2021

The Greenville women fell to Ohio Wesleyan 1-8 in their last game in South Carolina. The Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops went undefeated at Hilton Head and proved to be a tough team to beat, but that did not stop the Lady Panthers from giving their all on the court.

Kristen Lynch brought the team's only singles match win with a score of 6-4, 6-4. No. 4 Lynch played her best match of the season and is someone the team will rely on as the season continues.

No. 1, 2, and 3 doubles duos all lost their matches with scores of 2-8.

The Panthers end their Spring Break tour with a record of 0-4. Although the trip did not end in wins, the GC ladies made definite progress as a team and expect to better their record upon their return. The team is excited to get back and play their home opener against Eureka on March 21.
