Panther Basketball Defeats Lincoln Christian 82-62

LINCOLN, Ill.-- The GC men's basketball team earned an impressive road win over Lincoln Christian.
GC fell behind early, allowing the home team to go on a 12-0 run in the first few minutes. Fortunately, the team quickly gained momentum and took control of the game, leading 50-34 by halftime. The impressive play continued in the second half and the Panthers won the game 82-62.
Ron Harris led the Panthers in scoring and rebounding, finishing the game with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Brian Ehresman was also impressive for Greenville, scoring 13 points and going 5-5 in field goals made.
David Graves led Lincoln Christian with 18 points.
Greenville went 6-9 in three point attempts and 10-15 in free throws.
The win improves GC's record to 2-1. The Panthers will play their first home game of the season on Saturday, November 23 at 3:00pm when they take on Dominican.
