Published: April 13, 2021

GREENVILLE, Ill. GC baseball scored 30 runs in Wednesday nights double-dip dismantling of Eureka College, using scores of 11-3, 20-4 to deliver the sweep and secure a slot in the 2012 SLIAC Tournament.

With the pair of convincing victories, Greenville Baseball advances to 14-16 (12-5 SLIAC) and are winners of nine of their last eleven contests. As a result of their mid-season tear the Panthers have locked up at least the 3rd seed in upcoming SLIAC tournament.

The Black & Orange will return to the diamond on Friday, April 27 as the club hits the road for perennial SLIAC powerhouse Spalding University (12-6 SLIAC) in Kentucky. GC will battle the Golden Eagles at 5:00 pm on Friday, and will wrap up the three-game set with a double-header on Saturday that will start at 11:00 am.
