Kirk Pearce

Hometown: Rialto, CA

High School: Arrowhead Christian Academy Eagles

Position: LB

Awards: Team Captain, Defensive POY, Offensive Lineman POY, Linebacker of the Year, Salutatorian, Conference leader in tackles, interceptions and forced fumbles

Major: Physics, Pre-Engineering

Coach Mingo, “Wow what a special young man Kirk is. Here is a guy who was accepted to the US Air Force Academy and turned them down to come to Greenville College. Kirk is a guy who understands the value in the program here and will benefit from being here four years. Both on and off the field we will be looking to Kirk to lead. I can’t wait to see him on campus this fall.”


DeMarcus Greene

Hometown: East Saint Louis, IL

High School: East Saint Louis Flyers

Position: DL

Awards: 1st Team All-Conference, All-Metro, 2010 St. Louis American Newspaper's All-American Team

Major: Business Management

Coach Gaylord, “We are very excited to have DeMarcus at Greenville College in the fall. He is a guy who comes from a very successful high school program and will adapt easily to the competition at this level. He will not only be a contributor for the football program but he will be a member of the track and field team here. We know that DeMarcus’s career at Greenville will be successful.”






Nathan Butler

Hometown: West Frankfort, IL

High School: Frankfort Red Birds

Position: WR

Awards: National Honor Society, All-Conference Major: Early Childhood Education

Coach Schenk, “Nathan is another southern Illinois guy that we are really blessed to have committed to Greenville. He is very familiar with our program and he comes from a great family. We look for him to push for playing time on the offensive side of the ball at WR. I think he has great potential and I think is still growing physically so we can’t wait to get him on campus next fall!”








Cody Carter

Hometown: Madisonville, KY

High School: Hopkins County Central Storm

Position: OL

Awards: 2009 Most Improved Lineman, 2010 Outstanding Lineman, 1st Team ALL-WKC TEAM

Major: Criminal Justice


Coach Schomaker, “Cody is a big powerful offensive lineman who dominated his competition in high school. He excels both on the field and in the class room. A lot of strong programs were recruiting Cody and we are very excited to have him join our program here at Greenville. “






Jed Kulik

Hometown: Mascoutah, IL

High School: Mascoutah Indians

Position: DL

Major: Elementary Education

Coach Gaylord, “We are expecting a lot from Jed next fall. He is a guy who really fits Greenville College and will be looked upon to take a leadership role early. On the field Jed is used to playing against some of the best players in the state of Illinois. Hopefully the learning curve for him will be small. Jed is going to have a memorable career at Greenville and we can’t wait for it to start!”
