Volleyball Defeats Benedictine-Springfield 3-1

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Greenville Volleyball improved to 14-5 overall and 7-1 in SLIAC play Thursday, Oct. 7 as they claimed the 3-1 victory over Benedictine-Springfield.

It took Greenville four sets to put away their opponent, but behind a fourth set .462 kill percentage and only one error, they closed the door on Benedictine 25-19, 15-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Panther Volleyball will next travel to Principia College where they will play in a double header against Eureka College and Spalding University. Greenville will look to extend their six match-winning streak, and first place SLIAC standing.
