JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Greenville volleyball notched their 18th win of the season on Thursday night as they downed the Lady Blues of IC in four sets.

GC used a spread of 25-10, 25-20, 19-25, and 25-23 to put away a pesky Illinois College squad 3-1 in Jacksonville, and moved to 18-7 (11-2 SLIAC) in 2011.

The Panthers were led by a match-high 13 kills from sophomore Corinne Coon. Coon also posted five block assists in the win. Junior MB Tricia Gall also turned in an impressive performance for the road team, hanging 11 kills in 24 attempts with only two errors on the Lady Blues. Gall continued to fill up the stat sheet, adding four block assists, a block solo, and three digs in the match.

Greenville College volleyball will return to action on Saturday, October 29 as they host both MacMurray and Westminster in a SLIAC double-dip. GC will square off against MacMurray at 10:00 am in the opener, and will close with a duel against Westminster at 2:00 pm.
