GREENVLLE, Ill. -- The Greenville College volleyball team successfully defended H.J. Long Gymnasium Saturday, Sept. 11 as they overcame Robert Morris-Springfield 3-1.

Despite totaling 8 errors in their first game, the Lady Panthers dominated Robert Morris-Springfield 25-14 totaling 12 kills.

The second game was much the same for the Panthers, as the women captured a convincing 25-10 win.

The Lady Eagles of Robert Morris-Springfield battled back in the third game to edge out the Panthers 25-17 and force a forth game.

The Lady Panthers, however, bounced back in the forth game behind 12 kills and only two errors to close out the Eagles in a 25-18 finale.

The Panthers were led by senior Jessica Dothager (Brighton, Ill./Southwestern) who tallied 12 kills on 19 attempts and put up a .474 kill percentage with only three errors.
