Volleyball Sees Season End in First Round of NCAA Tournament

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The volleyball team's season concluded Thursday afternoon as they lost to Heidelberg in four sets during the first round of the NCAA tournament. Greenville lost the first game 25-15 before rallying to take set number two by a 25-23 final. Heidelberg defeated Greenville25-14in the third game and took the final set 25-18.
Katelin Feyerabend concluded her record-breaking career with 10 kills in 34 chances. Janell Crow provided 37 asists. Ansley DeVrieze collected a team-high 16 digs.
The loss to Heidelberg broke Greenville's 18-match winning streak which started in September. Greenville's final season record was 26-6.
