Volleyball Success Against Spalding, 3-1

LOUISVILLE, KY.--The Lady Panthers played fellow SLIAC team, Spalding, and came away with the win 3-1.

Greenville won the first set 26-24, the second set 25-14, and the fourth set 25-18. Spalding captured the third set with a 25-22 win, but in the end GC came away with the 3-1 victory.

GC recorded 36 kills in the match, lead by Corinne Coon with 10, Nicole Schaffer with 9, and Tricia Gall with 7. Setter, Ellen Lueking was credited with 35 total assists in the four sets.

Denensively, Greenville totaled 45 digs in the match. Schaffer had 14 of them and Jamie Schollenbruch recorded 11 in the match. The Panthers had 4 blocks in the match.

The women play Eureka later today in hopes of continuing their SLIAC undefeated streak!
