GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The volleyball improved their season mark with a pair of wins on Saturday in Greenville. The Lady Panthers defeated Iowa Wesleyan and Benedictine Springfield in straight sets.

Allyson Mitchell helped secure 15 points in the first match, picking up 13 kills and two service aces in the match.

Nicole Schaeffer was close behind, giving Greenville 14 points on 14 kills.

Ellen Lueking produced assists on 39 Lady Panther kills.

Jamie Schollenbruch was the workhorse on defense, totaling 15 digs. Schaeffer tallied 12 digs.

The blocking efforts were led by Savannah Sells and Sierah Ruffner who each had three block assists.

Greenville defeated Iowa Wesleyan with game scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-13.

Greenvilles second match of the day saw the Lady Panthers defeat Benedictine Springfield with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-15.

Sells and Mitchell gave Greenville 13 points each. Sells had 11 kills and four block assists while Mitchell posted nine kills and four service aces.

Lueking and Emily Thebeau earned 19 and 16 assists, respectively.

Schollenbruch was active on defense, tallying 12 digs.

The Lady Panthers (17-6, 11-0 SLIAC) travel to Eureka for a match on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
