Volleyball With Big Conference Win Over Webster

ST. LOUIS, Mo.--The Lady Panthers swept SLIAC rivals, Webster University, 3-0 in a Conference road match Wednesday night.
Corinne Coon once again lead GC with 18 points, 14 kills, and 3 service aces in the match. Coon, who has already been named SLIAC Player of the Week once this season, has been a strong offensive force for Greenville.
Nicole Schaeffer was also impressive for the Panthers offensively, getting 13 of GC's 52 points. She recorded 13 kills and 17 digs in the match.
In addition to Coon and Schaeffer, Ellen Lueking and Sierah Ruffner stood out for GC. Lueking had 31 assists and Ruffner earned 3 solo blocks for Greenville.
After the hard-earned win, the Lady Panther's record improves to 9-3 (3-0 SLIAC). Their next match is Saturday, September 21 when they travel to Eureka to take on Iowa Wesleyan at noon and Westminster at 2:00pm.
