Wayman to Facilitate Madrid Conference

GU's Andrews Chair in Christian Unity Ben Wayman will help facilitate the Ordaining Women conference in Madrid, Spain, January 17-18, 2020.

Wayman will serve as keynote speaker, training session co-facilitator, and discussion panelist, in collaboration with ordained Free Methodist elder Amy Casteel, Free Methodist Church Area Director for southern Europe Josue Fajardo, and others.

Wayman will address biblical interpretation, church tradition, and empirical evidence to demonstrate how the ordination of women displays the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In 2015, Wayman provided the introduction and notes for a new edition of B.T. Roberts book Ordaining Women, released by Wipf & Stock Publishers.

In 2018, the New Edition was translated into Spanish, with a new foreword by Free Methodist elder Delia Nesch-Olver.
