Women's Basketball drops tough game to Millikin

DECATUR, Ill. -- The women's basketball team had Millikin on the ropes but could not secure the knockout punch as the women lost by five, 65-60, on Saturday. Coley Baker totaled 18 points, seven blocks, and six rebounds in the contest.
Greenville erased an 11 point first half deficit as they took four point lead, 32-28, at the intermission. The Lady Panthers pushed their lead to as many as nine in the second half, but Millikin came back, outscoring Greenville 33-19 over the last 14 minutes.
Claire Schmitt produced 17 points and four steals.
Kayla Hyde and Kelly Lenz each had seven rebounds.
The Lady Panthers (0-2) host Lincoln Christian on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
