Women's Basketball Falls to Iowa Wesleyan

MT. PLEASANT, Iowa -- The women's basketball team suffered a 73-57 defeat to Iowa Wesleyan on Wednesday night in the second of three consecutive road games. Emily Gundy led Greenville with 17 points.

Greenville only faced a four point deficit at halftime and stayed within striking distance in the second half but were ultimately outscored by 12 points in the second half.

In addition to Gundy's 17 points, Coley Baker posted 15 points. Three Lady Panthers had three steals -- Gundy, Baker, and Miranda Murray. Claire Schmitt passed out four assists, and Whitney Vitt collected five rebounds.

The Lady Panthers (4-11, 1-7 SLIAC) travel to Principia on Saturday for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
