Women's Basketball Routs St. Louis Pharmacy

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The revamped women's basketball team opened the home portion of their 2013-14 schedule on Tuesday night with a 76-39 defeat of St. Louis Pharmacy. The Lady Panthers were led by the contributions of three players who hit double digits in scoring, led by Coley Baker with 14 points and Sam Lewis and Miranda Murray with 10 each.
Greenville led 42-15 after the first half and then outscored the Eutectics by 10 in the second stanza.
The squad's second and third units were more prolific scorer's than the starting five as they posted over half of Greenville's 76 points.
Other statistical leaders included Baker with nine rebounds and four blocks, Claire Schmitt with five assists, and a host of five Lady Panthers with two steals.
The women (3-2) travel to Webster on Tuesday night for a game at 6 p.m.
