Women's basketball stomps Webster

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's basketball team ended a two game slide as they bounced back with a 64-44 win over Webster on Saturday. Laura Goodnight provided 18 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocked shots in the effort.
The Lady Panthers shot at a 44.6 percent clip from the field (25-of-56) and limited Webster to a 26.6 percent mark (17-of-64). Greenville hit 5-of-13 free throws and 9-of-14 free throws.
Greenville led 26-20 at halftime and pushed its lead to 29 points late in the second half.
Missy Deal came of the bench and added 12 points and eight rebounds.
Taylor Paulin added 10 points.
Claire Schmitt posted five assists, and Jamie Schollenbruch had four steals.
The Lady Panthers (5-6, 2-3 SLIAC) travel to Fontbonne for a Wednesday night game at 6 p.m.
