Women's cross country 11th at Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. -- The women's cross country team finished 11th of 18 teams with 275 points at Bradley on Friday.
Molly Works placed 22nd in 23:48 to lead the squad. She bettered her season's fastest time by 39 seconds and was 22 seconds faster than last year on same course.
Sheridan Noll was 59th (25:06), and Brooke Goodyear saw herself 62nd (25:19).
Megan McKee and Lia Kruse rounded out the scoring for Greenvlle as McKee was 64th (25:23), and Kruse was 68th (25:31).
"We ran really pretty good as team," said head coach Brian Patton. "[We] had a lot of folks running next to teammates or with small gaps in between us."
The women next compete at the SLIAC championships on Saturday, Oct. 31, as they attempt to defend their title.
