Women’s Cross Country Earns 17th at Louisville

Results

LOUISVILLE, Ky. The womens cross country team used a 48th place finish by junior Molly Works as the team placed 17th at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday. It took Works 19:52 to complete the course and give Greenville 44 points.

Freshmen Krissy Finley, Jordie File, Brooke Goodyear, and Rachel Johnson all finished within a span of 30 seconds to complete the Lady Panther scoring.

Finley was 129th, earning 119 points in her 20:38 race.

File ran 20:44 to take 138th and 124 points.

Goodyear placed 148th in 20:50 to obtain 132 points, and Johnson finished 169th for 150 points in 21:07.

The Lady Panthers posted a score of 569. They defeated conference opponents Webster and Spalding at the meet. The women will next compete on Friday, October 17, at Bradley.
