Women's cross country finishes 27th at NCAA regionals

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The women's cross country season came to an end Saturday as the team placed 27th at the NCAA midwest regional meet.
The Lady Panthers were led by Brooke Goodyear, whose time of 23:45 was 116th in a field of 271 finishing runners to give Greenville 116 points.
The number two runner was Molly Works. Works completed the course in 23:49 for 120th place and 120 points.
Other scoring members of the team included Sheridan Noll, 24:42, 167th, 167 points; Lia Kruse, 25:11, 188th, 188 points; and Megan McKee, 25:27, 198th, 198 points.
Greenville ended the event with 789 points.
