Women's Soccer Allows Late Goal in Defeat

ANDERSON, Ind. -- The women's soccer team lost its second match of the season as they were defeated 2-1 by Anderson on Saturday. Greenville's goal was scored by newcomer Mackenzie Burris.

Anderson's Halley Embree netted a breakaway goal with 3:52 remaining to give them the victory.

Greenville allowed 12 shots in the contest, and goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff had five saves. Anderson permitted four Greenville shots.

The Lady Panthers (0-2) host Rose-Hulman on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
