Women’s Soccer dropped by Spalding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. The womens soccer team got a goal from freshman Barbara Nigro to tie the game in the first half, but Spalding scored two unanswered goals as they took a 3-1 win over Greenville on Saturday.
Goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff collected two saves.
Greenville held the edge offensively, outshooting Spalding 13-7 in the 90 minutes of action.
Spalding made use of its limited opportunities with three goals on five shots on goal.
The Lady Panthers (0-8-1, 0-1 SLIAC) travel to Millikin on Wednesday and host Westminster on Saturday in a conference match.
