Women’s soccer falls to Millikin

GREENVILLE, Ill. The womens soccer team was knocked off by Millikin on Saturday as Greenville fell 2-1.
Greenville took the early lead as Dani Pearce posted a goal in the 30th minute. Kieley Leach provided the assist.
Millikin scored in the 39th minute and then with 1:38 remaining in the match for the win.
Millikin held a 9-7 advantage in shots. Pearce had three of Greenvilles shots.
Goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff gave the Lady Panthers six saves on the evening.
The Lady Panthers (2-3-2) host Lindenwood (IL) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
