ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced its all-conference recipients in women's soccer. Dani Pearce earned the Newcomer of the Year award.

Pearce, a freshman midfielder from Springfield, Mo., started all 19 games as a true freshman and recorded 10 goals with nine assists. She also ranked fourth in the league in total points with 29. Pearce becomes the third Panther in program history to be named SLIAC Newcomer of the Year, joining Mindy Siebert in 2009 and Maureen Murphy in 2010.

Earning first team honors were senior forward Kieley Leach and two sophomores, midfielder Barbara Nigro and goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff.

Second team honors were obtained by Pearce and senior defender Tymber Gabbert.

Freshman defender Corinne Petrunich was on the third team.

The 2015 All-Sportsmanship Team included Leach.

The Lady Panthers ended a bounce back season with an overall record of 9-8-3 (6-3 SLIAC).
