Women's soccer topped 2-1 in SLIAC semifinals

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's soccer team rallied late but could not overcome a two goal deficit as they lost 2-1 at Webster in the SLIAC semifinals on Thursday night.

The Lady Panthers gave up goals in the 48th and 53rd minutes as Webster took a 2-0 lead.

Greenville's Taylor Purkey posted a goal in the 82nd minute as Dani Pearce gained the assist.

Hope Brakenhoff totaled two saves.

Greenville was outshot 10-5 in the contest.

The Lady Panthers concluded their season with a record of 9-8-3
