Women's tennis closes season third in SLIAC

Results

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's tennis team defended their third seed with a 6-3 victory over Westminster in the third place match of the SLIAC tourney.

No. 1 Lexi Baysinger, No. 2 Lezlie Friedline, and No. 5 Emily Rauch recorded five of Greenville's wins as Baysinger and Friedline won 8-2 in No. 1 doubles and then posted straight sets wins in singles.

Rauch took a straight sets victory in singles and joined with Emilie Britt in No. 3 doubles to win 9-7.

The No. 2 doubles team of Amanda Scott and Abby Maurer took an 8-2 win.

The Lady Panthers concluded their season with a record of 6-8.
