Women's tennis drops conference opener

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's tennis team lost 9-0 on Wednesday to Webster in the first conference match of the season.
Gianna Paden played a tight match at No. 6 singles as she lost 6-4,5-7, 10-8. Paden was the only Lady Panther to win a set.
Amanda Scott at No. 3 and Emily Rauch at No. 5 won four games in their matches.
The No. 1 doubles team of Lexi Baysinger and Lezlie Blaser Friedline were topped 8-4.
The Lady Panthers (1-6, 0-1 SLIAC) travel to Blackburn for a match on Saturday.
