Women's tennis suffers 9-0 loss to Ramapo

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The women's tennis team was defeated 9-0 by Ramapo on Wednesday as Greenville saw improved play in doubles action.
Greenville's No. 1 team of Lexi Baysinger and Lezlie Blaser Friedline and No. 2 team of Abby Maurer and Emilie Britt played close matches that they lost 8-6.
Britt pushed her opponent to 10 games in the second set as she lost 6-1, 6-4 in No. 5 singles action.
No. 4 Emily Rauch was defeated 6-1, 6-3.
The Lady Panthers (1-4) play Frostburg St. on Thursday.
