Women's track and field led by Gilles at Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The women's indoor track and field teams competed Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan and received a first place mark from Chelsea Gilles in the 200 meter dash.
Gilles took the title in the 200 as she finished in 27.08 seconds. She was second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.60 seconds.
Jumpers Sierah Ruffner and Janisha Pealer recorded second place marks in the high jump and long jump, respectively. Ruffner cleared nearly five feet at 1.52 meters (4-11.75), and Pealer reached a 5.09 m (16-8.5) in the long jump.
Marideth Tate recorded a distance of 10.21 m (33-6) in her second place shot put effort.
The Lady Panthers compete next Saturday at Illinois College.
