Women's track and field produces second place at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The women's track and field team had five entries gather first or second place marks as they totaled 106 points at Rose-Hulman on Friday night.
Greenville was led by Chelsea Gilles as she won the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.10 seconds.
Gilles was a member of Greenville's second place 4x100 meter relay team that was second by completing the race in 49.60 seconds. Other team members included Alex Gregory, Jalisa Casey, and Josie Muniania.
Molly Works gained the win in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a one minute, ten second victory over teammate Megan McKee. Works finished the race in 11:56, bettering her seed time by 19 seconds. McKee produced a second place showing in 13:06.
Marideth Tate exceeded her seed mark by over 1.5 meters with a throw of 41.90 meters (137 feet, six inches) to take second place.
The Lady Panthers return to competition at Illinois College on April 30.
