Women's volleyball defeated at No. 1 Washington-St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's volleyball team faced their toughest test of the season as they fell 25-18, 25-22, 25-19 to No. 1 Washington - St. Louis on Wednesday night.
Greenville's Allyson Mitchell and Savannah Sells posted double-digit efforts in kills as Mitchell provided 11 kills and Sells had 10 kills in the match. Kirsten Laune added 21 assists.
Jamie Schollenbruch produced a match-high 15 digs, and Riley Hannula offered one solo block and three block assists.
As a team, Greenville hit at a .120 clip with 26 kills and 10 errors in 100 attacks. They led Washington in kills in the second set by a 15-12 margin, but they were victims of six errors as they hit at a .205 rate.
The Lady Panthers (12-6) saw their winning streak snapped after 11 matches, but they return to action against Spalding on Thursday at 7 p.m.
