Women's volleyball gains votes in final AVCA poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. --The women's volleyball team joined the nation's elite with an appearance in the final AVCA coaches poll of the season.

On the heels of the program's qualification for its second NCAA national tournament, national coaches recognized Greenville's four-set loss to the country's No. 7 ranked Emory squad by giving Greenville 13 points in the final poll to check in 38th. Emory was No. 2 when they played GC.

The Panthers ended the season with an overall record of 24-8.
