Women's volleyball rallies to defeat Lincoln Christian

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team dropped the first set but rebounded to take the next three sets as they took a 23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 win over Lincoln Christian on Thursday.
Greenville outhit Lincoln by nearly 10 percent as the Lady Panthers were the beneficiaries of 26 errors by the Red Lions. Greenville posted 44 kills, 16 errors, and 132 attacks as they hit at a 21.2 percent clip.
Allyson Mitchell was the offensive power for Greenville as she collected 16 kills in the match. Kirsten Laune posted 35 assists.
Jamie Schollenbruch had a match-high 29 digs, and Riley Hannula came up with one solo block and five block assists.
The Lady Panthers (18-7) host Blackburn on Saturday at 11 a.m.
