Women's volleyball wins another

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team improved their conference-leading record to 15-1 with a 25-11, 25-13, 25-12 win over MacMurray on Tuesday.

The Lady Panthers hit at a rate over 30 percent in the match with 40 kills and 12 errors in 88 attacks.

Allyson Mitchell led Greenville's offense with 15 kills and five errors in 31 attempts.

Kirsten Laune provided 27 assists.

Greenville's defensive efforts were paced by Jamie Schollenbruch with 20 digs.

Savannah Sells had one solo block and two block assists. Sierah Ruffner totaled three block assists.

Greenville (20-7) hit the 20 win mark for the sixth straight year. They will attempt to clinch no worse than a tie for their sixth consecutive league championship when they travel to Fontbonne on Thursday for a match at 7 p.m.
