Women’s Basketball Defeats St. Louis Pharmacy

ST. LOUIS - Thewomen's basketball teamstarted their season on the right foot Tuesday night as they rolled to a convincing 63-25 win against St. Louis Pharmacy.
The Lady Panthers controlled the game from tipoff, bombarding St. Louis Pharmacy in the first half with a team shooting percentage of 50% and jumping out to an early 36-15 margin. Second half action was more of the same as Greenville put away the Eutectics to clinch the 63-25 victory.
Greenville was led by junior Julia Hale (Sturgis, S.D./McCook Comm. College) as she posted 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting.
The Lady Panthers (1-0) will next tipoff Friday, Nov. 19, against Hendrix in the GC Tipoff Classic at H.J. Long Gymnasium in Greenville, Ill.
